Synopsis by Augustine Chay
Matt Damon, Adam Driver, Jodie Comer, and Ben Affleck star in director Ridley Scott’s historical drama. Based on the true story of medieval France’s last incidence of trial by combat (in 1386), it follows the fraught chain of events that ensues after the wife of a Norman knight reports that she was raped by her husband's best friend and squire.
