In his small workshop, the reclusive and unusual toymaker Geppetto (Roberto Benigni) crafts his most unique creation to date, a puppet that bears an uncanny resemblance to a human boy. When the puppet, Pinocchio (Federico Ielapi) unexpectedly comes to life, he embarks on a fantastical adventure in hopes of transforming into a real boy. Along the way, he encounters a host of whimsical creatures who both help and hinder his journey. Based on the novel by Carlo Collodi. Written and directed by Matteo Garrone.
