Two brothers (Richard Gere and Steve Coogan) and their wives (Rebecca Hall and Laura Linney) meet up at a haute-cuisine restaurant to discuss what to do about a horrific crime that their sons committed together. As the quartet debate their options, the conversation reopens old wounds between the siblings. Written and directed by Oren Moverman, who adapted the script from the best-selling novel by Dutch author Herman Koch.
