Synopsis by Augustine Chay

Acclaimed French director Jacques Audiard’s English-language debut is western dark comedy based on Patrick deWitt’s 2011 historical novel of the same name. In 1850s Oregon, a notorious assassin duo named the Sisters Brothers (John C Reilly and Joaquin Phoenix) decide to travel to San Francisco to hunt down a gold prospector (Riz Ahmed) with the help of a detective (Jake Gyllenhaal).
