Benevolent witch Cassie Nightingale (Catherine Bell) does everything in her power to balance her responsibilities as a mother with her duties as the mayor of a small town. The wife of the local sheriff (Chris Potter), Cassie is in the midst of planning a well-deserved vacation when an investigative reporter (Geordie Johnson) arrives in town to prove a recent crime wave. When a video of Cassie vanishing into thin air goes viral, the reporter makes it her personal mission to besmirch the respected mayor's good name.
