Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
A middle-class teen gets a taste of the good life when he falls in with his wealthy cousin's privileged circle of friends in this indie drama inspired by The Great Gatsby. Fisher Miller (Ben Rosenfield) is a talented young photographer who realizes just what's he's been missing all these years when his cousin Kate's (Nicola Peltz) affluent friends bring him into the fold in the halcyon days just before the 2008 stock-market crash. Thanks to his high-grade marijuana and vintage camera, he is soon experiencing a life he could once only dream of. But a life of such entitlement is impossible to sustain, and Fisher will be right there as a witness when the bottom drops out.
