Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
Unable to break his acute social media addiction after being fired from his job, a former L.A. parking cop fakes his death on Facebook in order to see how many of his online friends with turn up for his funeral. Michael Harris (Ryan Hansen) was the Dirty Harry of parking enforcement officers -- until the day he made a career-ending mistake. Subsequently abandoned by his best friend (Zach McGowan), Michael begins to feel as if no one would notice if he suddenly died. In no time, Michael has cooked up a scheme designed to test that theory -- he'll fake his death on Facebook with the help of his ex-colleague Emile (James Immekus), and see how many of his social media connections will show up to mourn his passing. At first the ruse seems to be working perfectly, but now the faster the "Like"s start adding up, the more quickly Michael's life begins to unravel. Meanwhile, as his funeral draws near, Michael will discover the meaning of friendship in an age where connections are cheap, but true companionship is priceless.
