Synopsis by Jason Buchanan

A Palestinian baker becomes an informant for the Israeli military, jeopardizing his relationships with his two oldest friends, and his romance with the woman he plans to marry in this topical thriller from director Hany Abu-Assad (Paradise Now). Omar is no stranger to the dangers that go with living in the Occupied Territories; he regularly scales the dividing wall to visit his girlfriend Nadja, and each day he dreams of striking back at his Israeli oppressors alongside his oldest friends Tarek and Amjad. But when an Israeli soldier is killed, Omar is taken into custody and forced to work for the very people he despises most. In the midst of this intense crisis of conscience, Omar finds his true loyalties put to the ultimate test.
