A 25-year-old fashion designer must race to prove her innocence after participating in an apartment swap and being framed for murder. Dreading the thought of spending the summer alone in Montreal, Sophie Malaterre (Karine Vanasse) stumbles across a website that allows users to trade apartments and ends up in a spacious Paris duplex with a view of the Eiffel Tower. The morning after she arrives, however, Sophie is awoken by the sound of the police breaking down her front door. There's a decapitated corpse in her new apartment, and all signs point to Sophie as the killer. Realizing her identity has been stolen after seeing her picture on the duplex owner's passport, Sophie must now prove her innocence before she's convicted of a murder she didn't commit.
