New York City songwriter Danny (Kent Moran) fights for the love of deaf beauty Ariana (Alexia Rasmussen) after her wealthy, controlling mother (Cybill Shepherd) prevents them from seeing one another in this urban romantic drama. Inspired by Ariana to compose a series of soul stirring ballads that she will tragically never hear, Danny realizes that he has finally found the love of his life as Ariana takes her first tenuous steps toward independence after leading a sheltered childhood.
