Director Robert Crombie takes a cue from the Greek legend of Sappho for this erotic period drama about a pair of American newlyweds who find their passions aroused during a trip to the island of Lesbos. The year is 1926: upon crossing paths with Helene, the gorgeous daughter of a Russian archeologist, Sappho and Phil are drawn into a heated love triangle.
