Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
A young female drifter and an older widower living alone in Irish Connemara strike up a deal that she will work for him in exchange for food, but they will have no personal contact during their interactions. Sage and ironic, Martin (Stephen Rea) is a self-sufficient outdoorsman who has chosen a solitary life. Refusing to give her name, the Dutch wanderer (Lotte Verbeek) doesn't care to share her stories, and isn't interested in hearing about the lives of others. In time, Martin offers the girl a room to sleep in. She accepts, and their relationship gradually begins to evolve. It's only a matter of time before one of them breaks the deal, but who will it be, and why will they do it?
