This intense drama from Denmark recounts the tale of Daniel, a magnificently talented music student with a dark side: though he loves music, he does so to the point of obsession. His interests broaden when he meets a young woman named Sofie; the two fall deeply in love and plan to move to New York City together. But commensurate with the blossoming of this romance, Daniel grows wildly jealous and possessive around Sofie - to the point that the young man actually becomes dangerous.
