Synopsis by Perry Seibert

Hassan Benjelloun's Where Are You Going Moshe? takes place in Morocco after that country broke away from France's control. Many of the village's Jewish residents are leaving for Israel, and this will hurt the career of Mustapha, the owner of the local drinking establishment. Soon he concocts a plan to keep the Jews there, and his bar open.
