Kim Massee's road movie Cowboy Angels concerns an 11-year-old boy named Pablo (Diego Mestanza) who decides to make his way to Spain to see his birth father after being left alone again by his irresponsible mother. He talks a down-on-his-luck poker player named Louis (Thierry Levaret) to drive him, and although the two bicker with each other at first, they soon grow fond of each other. Their trip teaches them as much about themselves as it does about each other.
