Synopsis by Nathan Southern

As directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the Bollywood comedy Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. concerns Munna Bhai (Sanjay Dutt), a roughshod character who inhabits a Mumbai dhobhi ghat with his gang, and spends his days boozing, whoring, brawling and "settling financial disputes" in a rather unconventional manner. Munna couldn't be more content, though complications arise given the fact that his villager parents believe he's a doctor in charge of a charity hospital. To maintain this con, Munna and his gang annually prepare for the folks' visit by pretending to be top-tiered physicians, well-shaven and polished and clad in spotless white lab coats. This year, however, the deceit threatens to come toppling down when Munna's father, Hari Prasad Sharma, runs into an old friend, Dr. Asthana, who just happens to have a gorgeous young daughter employed as a physician - a woman named Dr. Suman (Gracy Singh). The two fathers reason that their children would make a perfect match - which leads to outrageous complications.
