Synopsis by Jonathan Crow
Rosamund Kwan Chi-lam stars in this romantic comedy about Lam-lam, a woman with an unusual affliction -- she stars throwing punches when she is touched by a man. She's crushed when her long time boyfriend, Michael (Michael To Tai-yu), dumps her after one too many right hooks to the face. Lonely and depressed, she ventures to a bar and gets picked up by Wah (Andy Lau Tak-wah). Yet back at Lam-lam's apartment, before anonymous sweat coupling can commence, the two would-be lovers manage to punch each other out. The next morning, Lam-lam comes to thinking that she and Wah had done it. As she clean off and goes off on a business trip, Wah learns that he has been kicked out of his apartment and promptly moves into Lam-lam's abode. He even goes so far as to tell her mother that they are engaged. Though Wah has fallen for this beautiful if violent lass, Lam-lam is still completely in love with Michael though he is already dating someone else.
