Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Although at 41, Kitty Gordon was about to retire from the screen, her beauty is still apparent in this drama. Helen (Gordon) marries Henry Rowland (Mahlon Hamilton) for his money. She proceeds to go through his earnings by purchasing all the latest fashions and squandering nearly an equal amount of money on bridge games. An evangelist, John Sterling (W. Lawson Butt), calls on Rowland in search of charitable donations, and Rowland asks him to interest his wife in doing some mission work. Sterling convinces Helen to volunteer her help, and soon she is spending all her time with him -- not out of any benevolence, but because she has fallen in love with Sterling. Rowland is less than thrilled at this turn of events, and he berates Sterling. The evangelist promises to take care of the matter. The next time Helen visits the mission, Sterling pretends to be disgustingly drunk. Helen is completely disillusioned, and suddenly comes to the realization that she loves her husband after all.
