Three women keep looking for love in all the wrong places in this character study. As she turns 30, Kate decides to break things off with her boyfriend Max. Her friend Isa is an artist prone to depression who is having problems with her boyfriend Christopher; what she doesn't know is that Christopher is also sleeping with Kate, and when Kate discovers she's pregnant, she isn't sure who the father is. And their friend Sasha seems bright and stable on the surface, and has a solid relationship with a good looking businessman, but it turns out she's also involved with another man who is unstable and prone to violence. Iles Flottantes was the first feature film from writer and director Nanouk Leopold.
