Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Paying a visit to a fortune-teller, impressionable heroine Pauline Garon is told that she will go on a vacation, fall in love with a doctor, and get married after a whirlwind courtship. Hoping to make this prophecy come true, Garon heads to a resort community, where everything that the fortune-teller predicted comes true. What neither Garon nor her new husband Johnny Harron realize is that the "justice of the peace" who marries them is actually a burglar who hopes to use Harron's influence to break into a few houses. Called away from his honeymoon cottage under false pretenses, Harron leaves his wife in the care of his roly-poly best friend Walter Hiers. Thanks to a silly misunderstanding, Harron is convinced that Hiers has betrayed his trust and tried to get fresh with Garon. It's up to the burglar, who isn't such a bad guy after all, to straighten things out.
