Synopsis by Eleanor Mannikka
A muted story of unrequited lesbian desire, today's audiences may find Natsuko's (Setsuko Aya) love for Mitsu (Naomi Ito) too underplayed and understated to deliver dramatic punch. Both young women share an apartment, and all goes well except for the fact that Natsuko has taken a dislike to Mitsu's boyfriend Hideo (Hiroshi Sugita). Her anger is strong enough to seduce him into having sex, after first making him promise that he will never see Mitsu again in exchange. Then everything deteriorates when Natsuko finds out she is pregnant, and Hideo returns for a heart-to-heart talk with Mitsu.
