Synopsis by Hal Erickson
First telecast February 17, 1995, "End Game" is the conclusion of a two-part story that began with the previous week's episode, "Colony." At long last, it appears that Mulder is to be reunited with his sister, who had been abducted by aliens two decades earlier. But appearances are deceiving, as Scully learns to her horror when the man whom she assumes to be Mulder is actually a shape-shifting extraterrestrial assassin (Brian Thompson). The story comes to a climax as Mulder must choose between loyalty and love. Written by Frank Spotnitz, "End Game" remains one of the landmark X-Files installments.
