A disappointing pinku eiga entry from director Noboru Tanaka, especially coming in the same year as his superior Yogisha No Onna, this softcore Nikkatsu melodrama tells the familiar story of a young wife (Rie Nakagawa, aka Sakayu Nakagawa) who works in her father's flower shop. Immersing herself in her work, Nakagawa is able to escape her marital problems (including her own frigidity) at least temporarily. When her husband begins an affair with her best friend, however, Nakagawa is forced to confront reality and seek advice from her wise old father. Tedious and formulaic, this is a film which, were it not for the sporadic sex scenes, would be the stuff of soap opera.
