Synopsis by Tracie Cooper
Directed by Nam Lai Choi, The Peacock King chronicles the lives of two monks who, separated at birth, reunite in order to defeat none other than the King of Hell himself. Peacock (Yuen Bao) and Lucky Fruit (Hiroshi Mikami make the trek to Japan in hopes of finding Ashura (Gloria Yip), the daughter of the King of Hell and the key to preventing the ominously approaching Armageddon. Though they had planned to kill her, things become even further complicated when Ashura, despite her parentage, turns out to be quite nice.
