Valdemar (Dirch Passer) and his fishing buddies Svend (Ove Sprogoe) and Knud (Paul Hagen) are drafted into the Danish Navy in this slapstick comedy. The trio faces financial disaster because they have just gone in debt to buy a new fishing trawler. The boys hope the curvaceous Hanne (Ghita Norby) can handle the boat with help from her kid brother (Jan Priiskorn Schmidt) and her grandfather (Hans W. Petersen).
