Synopsis by Jack Rodgers
In this Mexican Western directed by Arturo Ripstein and co-written by legendary author Gabriel García Márquez, a convict (Jorge Martínez de Hoyos) returns home after serving 18 years in jail for killing a man in self-defense. Unfortunately, his plans to move on with his life are complicated by the slain man's two sons, who believe their father's death was a cold-blooded crime and are eager for revenge.
