Nigel Stanyon (Robert Warwick) is living in Paris with his mistress, Belle (Kathlyn Williams). He sincerely would like to marry her, but being the vamp she is, she jilts him for a rich nobleman (Clarence Geldart). So he returns home to England where he falls in love with a nice girl, Monica (Wanda Hawley). But after a trip to Paris, Nigel's friend Brian (Tom Forman) returns home married to the wayward Belle. Belle, as is her nature, tries to run off with yet another man, but Nigel prevents it from happening. Eventually, he and Monica wind up together. This film was based on a melodrama by English playwright R.C. Carton.
