Synopsis by Hal Erickson
The effervescent Douglas Fairbanks Sr. plays the title role in Mr. Fix-It. Doug plays an American college boy, studying in England. His roomate wants to escape an arranged marriage, so Doug nobly offers to impersonate his pal and go through with the wedding. The blushing bride, Wanda Hawley, suspects that Doug isn't who he pretends to be, but decides to give him enough rope to hang himself. All ends happily-as if there was the slightest doubt. Mr. Fix-It was produced and directed by Allan Dwan, who later put Fairbanks through his paces in the monumental Robin Hood.
