Synopsis by Hal Erickson
The "girls" in this British sitcom were three in number. The central character was Bev, a West Indian journalist. Bev lived in London with her teenaged daughter Aisha and her own mom, Grandma Pinnock. During the first six episodes, Joanne Campbell was seen as Bev; she was replaced in the final six by Nicola Blackman. Meanwhile, the other two regulars, Marlaine Gordon (Aisha) and Mona Hammond (Grandma) stuck it out for all 12 half hours. Us Girls was telecast by BBC1 from 1992 to 1993.
