Synopsis by Maggie Sadler
In the heart of Memphis, Elijah (Mamoudou Athie) works for the family business as his father (Courtney B. Vance) grooms him to one day take over their locally-owned barbecue restaurant. Unbeknownst to his father and the rest of his family, Elijah trains in secret to become a master sommelier, a lifelong dream. Elijah must then make a decision between pursuing his passion for fine wine or upholding his father's expectations. Written and directed by Prentice Penny, the film co-stars Niecy Nash.
