An online romance leads to real world confusion when a small town wallflower and her introverted cyber-lover create false personas on the internet, and then fail to make the connection when they have a chance meeting on the city streets. Socially withdrawn yet eager to meet men, Mariana portrays herself as a worldly, self-sufficient woman when she's safely hidden behind her computer screen. Likewise, Mariana's online beau Ambrosio projects the image and attitude of an experienced lothario, despite the fact that he can barely muster the courage to speak to a pretty lady in the real world. When Marina takes a trip to the city in a bid to build her confidence, happenstance brings her and Ambrosio together in the streets. Neither is aware of the other's online identity, but before the day is over both will be reminded that it pays to be honest when it comes to seeking your ideal mate.
