Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
In this movie, the entire country of Venezuela seems to be under the influence of a sedative, unable to fully wake up and unable to dream big dreams. In the story, two young men have a tremendous ambition to be the first Venezuelans to climb Mount Everest. Even though the peak has been scaled numerous times, it is an expensive proposition either to join or to mount an expedition for that purpose. The young men go on a campaign throughout the country to try and raise money for their quest. After climbing the outside of a Caracas skyscraper, they are briefly interviewed for television before they are carted off to jail on charges of "reckless endangerment."
