Synopsis by Bhob Stewart
This political allegory, written and directed by 24-year-old Daniel Burman, begins at a political rally and then segues into flashbacks to trace the tale of florist Erasmo (Jose Luis Alfonso) and his plan to gain revenge on politician El Zancudo (Walter Reyno), the killer of his wet nurse Elsa (Maria Luisa Arguello). Adding to the dream-like atmosphere are various symbolic roles, superimpositions, time lapse photography, and black-and-white sequences. Shown at the 1998 Sundance Film Festival.
