Synopsis by Nicole Gagne
Carmelo (Enrico Montesano) takes the train to transport his young son, Malcolm (Lorenzo Aiello), to his grandmother's home in southern Italy. Their trip leads to encounters with a procession of eccentrics, but it also offers Carmelo some satisfaction when he meets Beatrice (Sylvia Kristel), a paleontologist who is traveling with a rare animal skeleton. The troublemaking Malcolm interferes with his father's pursuit of Beatrice until Carmelo leaves the child behind in the train station. Malcolm, however, is found, and the frustrated Carmelo never gets to enjoy any intimacy with Beatrice.
