Synopsis by Dan Pavlides
An ugly old maid saves her money and a new suit of clothes for the groom she may never have in this depressing drama. She finds a man 20 years her junior, but he dies from consumption. She then sets her sights on a man who is even younger. The title refers to the rural custom in which the bride-to-be must provide the man with a new suit for the day of the wedding. The heavy-handed direction seems to revel in portraying all the characters in this feature as extremely unlikable humans.
