Synopsis by Mark Deming

A struggling rock & roll band reaches for the brass ring while struggling with their differences as war looms in this Israeli drama. Set in 1973, shortly before the outbreak of the Yom Kippur War, the story takes place at the Vulcan Junction, a rock club in Haifa where a local band is developing a loyal following. They seem poised to go on to bigger and better things, and talent scouts have been taking a look at the group, but it seems they're more interested in the band's charismatic frontman, Shelly (Oren Shabo), than the group as a whole. While Shelly is loyal to the group, the concept of loyalty is a bit problematic for him at the moment, especially since best friend Avi (Sammy Ori) has signed on to play soccer with a pro team in Amsterdam, leaving Shelly to look after his girlfriend (Yael Hadar) -- with whom he's long been infatuated. Meanwhile, the rest of the band have problems of their own, as they struggle to balance their love for their music and their belief in their talents with the realities of having to plan for the future.
