Documentary filmmaker Debbie Lum weaves together diverse narratives and testimonies by over-achieving students enrolled at Lowell High School, one of California's highest-ranking schools for academic achievement. Anticipating their graduation, rising seniors discuss their journeys and duties as academically gifted students as the pressure of receiving acceptance letters to prestigious universities mounts, putting their fragile mental states in jeopardy.
