Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Gregory Scott and Joan Ritz, both highly revered London stage personalities, were the stars of the three-reel Neptune production The Trumpet Call. Ritz plays an irredeemable villainess who marries and destroys two men in quick succession. When war is declared, both of Ritz's husbands find themselves in the same military regiment. As the story progresses, one of the husbands is led to believe that he is still married to Ritz, thereby nullifying his second marriage and transforming his child into a bastard. The other husband, taking pity on his comrade, seeks out the truth, resulting in a deathbed confession from the duplicitous "heroine."
