Synopsis by Tracie Cooper
Ireland's long history of political turmoil is put under the spotlight in director Chris Morahan's film Trouble, which centers around the shell-shocked Major Archer (Ian Charleson), who, despite his engagement to another, finds himself falling for Sarah (Emer Gillepsie), a pationate Irish nationalist. Meanwhile, his fiance's father wants to renovate the hotel they live in from its current state of decay into the splendor it used to be--he belives that this will subdue the nationalist forces that threaten his own elite societal status. This film also features Susannah Harker, Ian Richardson, and Martin Dempsey.
