Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Created by Greg Brennan, the British sitcom Trouble in Mind starred Richard O'Sullivan as retired psychiatrist Adam Charlesworth and Susan Penhaligon as Adam's wife, Julia. With their children grown and moved away, Adam and Julia decided to keep busy by turning their hobby into a vocation, launching a small landscaping business. Jim McManus costarred as Stanley Chambers, the Charlesworth's resident gardener. After nine episodes, the series went off on a different tangent as Adam contemplated having a vasectomy. What the outcome of this plot twist might have been will never be known, since the series was axed by London Weekend Television due to lack of audience interest. For the record, Trouble in Mind was telecast from February 24 to July 14, 1991.
