Synopsis
In this prime-time edition of the daytime series, host Harry Smith travels across America in search of intriguing people and places. Included: a retired doctor who cares for the disadvantaged in South Carolina; Afghan-Americans living in New York; a scientist who studies nature sounds in Alaska; and a civil-rights activist in Mississippi.
