Synopsis by Hal Erickson
On this 46th episode of his popular PBS series, Rick Steves pays a return visit to London, previously explored during season one of Travels in Europe. Following a few minutes at Westminster Abbey, Rick embarks upon a "Shakespearean tour", beginning at the Globe Theatre and moving onward to Stratford-on-Avon, Warwick Castle, Cambridge, and that hotbed of political-religious intrigue, York Cathedral. From here, it is mere hop, skip, and jump to the picturesque North York Moors. The episode ends with a foretaste of the next installment, as Rick prepares to sail across the channel to France.
