Synopsis by Clare Perez-Izaguirre Lopez
With statistics stating there are approximately 15,000 transgender individuals serving in the U.S military, this documentary directed by Gabriel Silverman and Fiona Dawson follows the lives of four military personnel caught in the paradox of trying to serve their country, themselves and their community. After coming out to high ranking government officials, and the lifting of the ban as of 2016, the tides may change yet again if the ban is reinstated.
