From the distant planet of Sabertron came a race of biomechanical organisms called Transformers. This race broke into two factions over moral differences: the Autobots worked to foster cooperation and fairness within the universe, while the ill-natured Deceptacons allowed their greed to cloud their outlook and sacrifice everything for profit. For ages, the Deceptacons have battled the Autobots to take full control of Energon, a concentrated form of energy more powerful than anything the Earth has seen. Now, the war is headed for Earth and the Autobots have an even greater challenge ahead: they must keep the Deceptacons from seizing all the Energon and subjecting everyone to their tyranny and greed while protecting the citizens of Earth from the havoc that a war between such gargantuan creatures can wreak.
