The Trains on Location series, narrated by TRAINS editor Kevin P. Keefe, takes the railroad enthusiast aboard freight and passenger trains bound for some of the most scenic areas in North America. The train lover gets a close-up look at the engines which power the trains as well as a tour of the cars and cargoes. Interviews with railroad workers and historians provide insights into the operations and history of each line. This episode goes into the wild country of British Columbia, where the CN and CP freight lines are tested by the terrain of the Fraser and Thompson River Canyons and the Coast Mountain Range. The sights and sounds of the exciting ride are captured in color and stereo.
