Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein
This obscure silent Western, starring the equally obscure Bill Patton, was produced and co-written by African-American character actor Noble Johnson. The unimpressive Patton played Norman Draper, a Texas Ranger helping a friend, Carlson (George Berrell) bury his dead wife. Rancher Marcos Valverde (François Dumas) and his daughter Elicia (Beatrice Burnham), meanwhile, are plagued by cattle rustlers and the deputy sheriff (Johnson) arrests Carlson, who had bought a stolen cow from the gang. Draper rescues his friend from a lynching party and unmasks the deputy sheriff as the leader of the gang.
