Synopsis by Nathan Southern

With a title that translates roughly as "Anything for Dough," this woolly, wacky slapstick farce from French helmer Bertrand Van Effenterre (Mais ou et donc Ornicar?) follows the exploits of a group of ne'er-do-well buddies (Bruno Putzulu, Laurent Lucas, Christopher Alévêque and Thomas Jouannet) who team up with a female friend (Sylvie Testud) to pull off a seemingly foolproof caper. The stunt involves staging a heist at a nearby office, and robbing a safe that contains some money supposedly intended for medical research. The burglars, however, are such slapstick buffoons that virtually every action misfires - and one of the boys, nitwit Paulo (Putzulu) has a wild, anarchic streak that constantly threatens to erupt into zany violence. Complicating the situation further is the fact that the fellow responsible for initially raising the funds from donors, Patrick Croissard (Patrick Braoudé) is himself a sleazy con-artist who intends to use the bread for his own ends.
