Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Girlish Gladys Leslie, who was once a rival of Mary Pickford, gets the opportunity to do a bit of vamping in this light comedy. Although she gets top billing, it's actually Jean Paige who has the bigger (if not necessarily meatier) role. Society girl Charlotte Browning (Paige) wants to write a crook play, and she asks Bidwell Wright, whom she assumes to be a Raffles-type crook (Huntley Gordon), for help. He obliges by bringing her a gang of criminal types: Boston Fanny (Leslie), Benny Chipmunk (Cecil Chichister), and Frisco Jimmy (Anders Randolph). The crooks, convinced that they are becoming part of an international ring of thieves headed by Charlotte and her father (T.J. McGrane), proceed to cause havoc amongst her friends and neighbors. Fanny even vamps Charlotte's father and takes all his cash and jewelry. When the crooks find out they've been tricked, they're furious, and it takes all of Wright's ingenuity to get rid of them. Wright, it turns out, is really a lawyer who loves Charlotte, and he helps her finish her play in a more honest fashion.
