Synopsis by Sandra Brennan
The tumultuous love affair between a clothing store clerk and a famous singer provides the basis of this Greek romantic drama. Vasso is working in an up-scale men's clothing store when the famous singer Nikos walks in to buy something. He is immediately attracted to the pretty clerk and soon they are romantically involved. They move into Nikos' apartment, where he discovers that she is an excellent singer. He puts her in his backup band and together they play the hottest nightspots around. They are especially popular at the club, Dawn. Unfortunately, Nikos develops a taste for cocaine, booze and younger women. One fateful night, the drunken singer punches out a fellow in the club. He then discovers that the victim was an important local citizen and Nikos is fired, leaving Vasso to replace him. She becomes an instant star.
