Synopsis by Robert Firsching
Takis Kanellopoulos wrote and directed this anthology containing six short stories occurring during the course of a single Sunday in Greece. The first has an aging hansom cab driver wandering the streets looking for jobs and the second follows an elderly couple on their weekly walk through a city park. Then a man steals flowers and, in memory of his friend who died in the war, leaves them at the homes of all the dead man's friends. The fourth segment concerns a boy telling the story of his father's name's day, and the fifth relates the dying moments of an old man who had helped sabotage a bridge in World War II. The final story has a woman waiting and waiting for a letter from her past which is never delivered. Thanos Tzeneralis leads a large cast featuring Poppi Alva, Yiorgos Fourniadis, and Lina Lambraki.
